Spirion Executives Share Insights on Data Privacy and Compliance During RSA Conference 2020

SAN FRANCISCO, CA―February 26, 2020―Today at RSA Conference 2020 (Booth #N-6459), Spirion executives will share expert insights on data privacy and rapidly evolving compliance regulations as speakers for multiple conference sessions. The company will participate in a roundtable discussion on data discovery, privacy, and compliance that will be broadcast live at the conference. Spirion will also host a standalone workshop on what the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) means for organizations’ security programs. All RSAC participants are invited to attend.
Hosted Breakout Session
Spirion’s Vice President and Senior Counsel, Privacy and Compliance Scott Giordano, Esq., will host a breakout session on “What the California Consumer Privacy Act Means for Your Security Program” today at 11:40 a.m. PST in the South Briefing Center Booth S-1500.
In this intermediate talk, Giordano will discuss the many cybersecurity requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act and offer insights into effectively meeting them in advance of the July 1, 2020 deadline. He will also provide an analysis of additional requirements recently published by the California Attorney General.

Spirion’s Chief Innovation Officer Gabriel Gumbs will participate in an interactive Q&A roundtable on “Data Discovery, Privacy, and Compliance in 2020” today at 1:00 p.m. PST that will be broadcast live for all conference attendees.
Moderated by the Chair of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), this interactive Q&A roundtable includes technology experts who, together with Gumbs, will discuss the current compliance landscape around the world, how to leverage data inventories for CCPA and GDPR compliance, strategies for data loss prevention, best tools and practices for achieving and maintaining compliance, and what to expect in 2020 and beyond.
