Spirion CEO Featured on Cover of CIO Review’s December Compliance Edition

The December 2019 Compliance Edition of CIO Review covered today’s increasingly complex and high-risk challenge: data compliance. The CEO and President of Spirion, Kevin Coppins was featured on the cover. The cover story explained the Spirion-first approach to data compliance, which automates data discovery and classification, and strengthens data security.

“We help CIOs kick-start the most optimal approach to compliance by finding all of the sensitive personal data stored across their enterprise, and classifying it according to their business rules, allowing them to effectively protect and manage what matters most to them and their customers,” stated Coppins.

Spirion’s success in achieving this goal was illustrated in two Spirion client success stories. The Spirion-First approach helped the California-based credit union, Patelco, maintain Payment Credit Card (PCC) compliance. Also, the national healthcare provider, athenahealth, sought out Spirion’s capabilities to strengthen its compliance by maintaining its culture of data security and privacy at all endpoints.
