Company

Big data drives our economy. Stop it, lose it, impair it, or misuse it and the consequences are crippling – whether by regulatory fines, lost organizational productivity or a damaging breach of public trust.

The big data footprint your business relies on grows larger every day and your challenge and charge is to secure it all and maintain ongoing compliance in an ever-changing regulatory landscape. But how can you protect something if you don’t know where it is? And how could you know? The rampant collection and replication of files and the misuse of sensitive personal data – intentional and accidental – is virtually uncontrollable. Until now.

Our Story

Spirion is the critical first step toward data privacy and security. We build and deliver the most accurate data discovery and classification solutions on the planet to position our customers for unparalleled data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. Since 2006, Spirion has empowered the data privacy, security, and compliance strategies of thousands of organizations worldwide and across multiple industries.

Our Mission

Spirion exists to protect what matters most – the sensitive personal data of our colleagues, our customers, and our communities.

Our Core Beliefs

Spirion understands that data is the lifeblood of modern society. We believe that, to allow data to drive growth in a boundless digital frontier, there must be an open flow of information that is protected from misuse – intentional or not. With this core belief comes the responsibility to protect every individual’s right to data privacy and security, and every organization’s sensitive data and intellectual property.

Our customers don’t want fast and easy – they want accurate and persistent. And that’s what we will always focus on – because you cannot protect what you cannot find.

“The real victims of enterprise data breaches are always the people. That was the genesis of Spirion; to protect people from identity theft by enabling companies to find and protect sensitive data. Since day one, we have made our focus to be the most reliable, accurate, and scalable data discovery and automated persistent classification solution on the market. We invite you to join us in eliminating the risk of fraud caused by successful cyberattacks”
