Spirion wins best in biz award

Best in Biz: Enterprise Product of the Year – Security Software

What are the Best in Biz Awards?

Since the program’s inception in 2011, winners in Best in Biz Awards have been determined based on scoring from independent judging panels assembled from some of the most respected newspapers, TV and radio outlets, and business, consumer, technology and trade publications in North America and around the world. Winners have spanned the spectrum, from blue-chip companies that form the global economy’s bedrock to some of the world’s most innovative start-ups and nimble local companies. Each year, Best in Biz Awards honors are conferred in two separate programs: North America and International, and in 90 categories, including company, team, executive, product, and CSR, media, PR and other categories.

Combining top editors’ and reporters’ expertise and experience, Best in Biz Awards judging panels are uniquely able to determine the ‘best of the best’ from among the hundreds of competitive entries. The 2020 judging panel included writers from Barron’s, Consumer Affairs, USA Today and Wired.

Case in point: Christopher Null, an award-winning journalist, editor, and columnist for Wired and PC World, has judged seven of the last ten Best in Biz Awards programs. He says, “In this wild year, it’s amazing to see companies still innovating, adapting, and thriving. There’s so much in the business world that is inspirational right now.”

Spirion Broadens Product Portfolio

We couldn’t agree more. 2020 was a year unlike any other in so many ways—especially when it comes to protecting what matters most. The Spirion team remained focused and worked hard to broaden our product portfolio based upon our new, award-winning Data Privacy Manager platform.

Throughout the year, the team introduced new products to extend Data Privacy Manager’s functionality, including Spirion Compliance and Data Analytics, which help enterprises reduce the risk and operational costs of staying compliant. Toward the end of the year, we also launched a Customer Marketplace—an online hub for third-party data privacy and security integrations, applications, best practices, and training information—and entered into several third-party product development agreements to help customers achieve their data privacy goals faster and with greater effectiveness.
